What is ScopeAgree?

ScopeAgree is a tool for independent kitchen and bathroom renovation businesses in the UK and Ireland. It helps you capture extra work found mid-job, send the homeowner a clear fixed-price proposal, and record whether they approve or reject it — so the extra is agreed before you do the work.

How does the homeowner approve an extra?

You send a private review link. The homeowner opens it — no account or password needed — reads the proposal, and makes an explicit approve-or-reject decision. Approval asks them to type their name, confirm a short acknowledgement and confirm the exact amount and currency. ScopeAgree records the decision, the version they saw and a timestamped evidence trail.

Is the approval a legal signature?

No. ScopeAgree records clear electronic assent — the typed name, the acknowledgement, the explicit confirmation and the exact proposal version — as evidence of the homeowner’s decision. It is not a qualified electronic signature and does not verify identity. Whether any agreement is enforceable depends on your contract and the law; take your own legal advice.

What happens after an extra is approved?

An approved extra creates a single invoice draft that reproduces the approved scope, quantities, price, tax and totals. You review and issue it from your accounting process. ScopeAgree does not collect payment or track whether an invoice has been paid.

Can I change a proposal after sending it?

A sent version is locked so there is a clear record of exactly what the homeowner saw. If the scope changes, you send a revision as a new version. The homeowner’s earlier decision and the evidence around it are preserved.

Does it work in both the UK and Ireland?

Yes. ScopeAgree supports GBP and EUR and keeps UK and Irish tax settings separate. You work in one currency per organisation and the tax handling follows your jurisdiction.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is held in the European Union (Frankfurt). Files are stored privately and encrypted, and homeowners only ever reach a single proposal through a private, expiring, revocable link — never your account.

How much does it cost?

Solo is £19 / €24 a month and Team is £49 / €59 a month, with every MVP feature on both plans. Early access is invite-gated to a small founding cohort — join the waitlist to be considered.
